El presente artículo considera la obra política de H. Arnisaeus como el cuerpo doctrinal más completo de la teoría absolutista europea del siglo XVII. En este sentido cabe considerar a Arnisaeus como padre de la Staatslehre alemana, principal teórico del absolutismo en Alemania en el siglo XVII y miembro destacado de la Escuela de Helmstedt. El núcleo de su discurso político: Politica (1606) está en la reformulación de la teoría aristotélica de la revolución como cambio y mutación constitucional.
This article considers H. Arnisaeus’s political work the most complete doctrinal corpus of the European absolutist theory in the XVII century. In this sense, Arnisaeus can perfectly be considered the father of the German Staatslehre, the chief theorist of Germany’s absolutism in the XVII century and a distinguished member of the Helmstedt School. The core of his treatise Politica(1606) lies in his reconsideration of the Aristotelian theory of revolution as a constitutional change and mutation.
