F.D. Fuentes Rettig currently works at the Eccles Centre for American Studies at the British Library. Her research interests are in visual culture, historical memory and the national and transnational, particularly in relation to mourning and trauma. Her work has examined the global broadcasting of national funerals, and she is currently conducting research on Chilean film archives. She is a British segunda generación Chilena.
